Educational activities are conducted in accordance with the academic year’s event plan. Discussions were held regarding prepared papers on the following topics:
— “State symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan: flag, coat of arms, and anthem”;
— “Ethics and deontology in surgery”;
— “The unified state healthcare system”;
— “National culture and language.”
These events fostered active discussion; conversations regarding language and culture, as well as deontology and ethics, were particularly lively. Interns shared their perspectives on the issues and proposed solutions. There was no doubt among the interns regarding the relevance and importance of the topics raised. The “President’s Address to the People of Kazakhstan” is discussed annually with group supervisors. Under the guidance of these supervisors, discussions on “Healthy Lifestyle” were held within the intern groups.
The department hosts patriotic events, including:
– Independence Day, Day of People’s Unity, Defender of the Fatherland Day, Victory Day, and meetings with medical service veterans;
Ceremonial gatherings and concerts are held to mark:
– International Women’s Day (March 8);
– Medical Worker Day;
– Teacher’s Day;
– Social gatherings featuring and honoring outstanding faculty members, students, and distinguished physicians.
