Department of Primary health care basedin 2012KaribayevaDinaOrynbasarovna – acting chief of Department of Primary Health Care, an associate professor, candidate of medical science, Member of General Practitioners of Kazakhstan and General Practitioner of the highest category

The first head of the department and baseb in- candidate of medical science, AkazhanovNurbekArasanovich, he is Member of the European Association of Urology and Member of General Practitioners of Kazakhstan. In 2011 heusedtogetarank “TheBestDoctoroftheYear” in Almaty.Hehadincludedtotheencyclopedia “TheBestWorkers of Health”. In 2012 he had awarded the Jubilee Medal “100 Years of D.A.Kunayev”. In 2012 heusedtogetarank “The Best Manager in the Health” in Republic of Kazakhstan.

Department of primary health – care deals with problems of respiratory pathology in primary care; problems of medical education; works closely with foreign professors, conducted joint projects. Published more than 60 papers.

At the department are trained general practitioners in internship. Conducted scientific work with interns. Interns chair participate with reports in student conferences, charity events. Graduates of the department work in different regions of Kazakhstan.

Staff of the department retains the customs and traditions in the implementation of the strategic development plan KazNMUafter SD Asfendiyarov actively takes part in the public life of university.
