Student research is actively conducted under the supervision of the department faculty.
Every Monday, in the main conference hall of A.N. Syzganov National Scientific Center of Surgery, department residents deliver scientific presentations and discuss their work with faculty members. A dedicated schedule has been established to ensure continuity of resident research presentations. This close scientific exchange between residents and faculty has demonstrated tangible results.
At the VIII Congress of Surgeons of Kazakhstan dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Academician M. A. Aliyev, titled “The Contribution of Academician M. A. Aliyev to the Development of Surgery in Kazakhstan,” residents and doctoral students of the department won 1st and 2nd prize places in the poster session “Young Scientists.”
