The scientific potential of the department consists of 2 doctors of sciences, 5 candidates of sciences and assistants. The staff of the department actively carries out research work.

Our residents at all levels of training actively participate in all research works. The results of research are implemented at clinical bases of our university and reported at seminars, scientific-practical conferences and congresses of the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries by employees and residents of the department.

The department annually holds seminars with doctors of practical health care at clinical bases and scientific-practical events together with scientific centers.

Employees of the department issued 5 manuals and methodical recommendations, published since the creation of more than 300 scientific articles and more than 20 patents RK. Teachers of the department and residents take part in scientific events with oral and poster reports on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Near Abroad, also with the publication of abstracts and articles in the collection of conference materials.

Since its foundation, one PhD has been defended, 2 STP applications have been submitted, 15 articles and 2 theses have been published in national publications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
