On February 12, 2026, a mini job fair was held at S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University with the participation of representatives from medical organizations of the West Kazakhstan Region.
Chief physicians and directors of regional healthcare institutions took part in the event. They presented current job openings, spoke about employment conditions, salary levels, social support measures for young professionals, as well as opportunities for professional and career growth.
In addition, a senior lieutenant from the military infirmary of the village of Saryozek under the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the meeting. He informed students about the specifics of service in military medical institutions, working conditions, and social guarantees for medical professionals within the defense system.
The event was held in an open dialogue format: interns and residents had the opportunity to ask questions, receive individual consultations, and discuss employment prospects and the completion of mandatory work placement.
Such meetings help strengthen cooperation between the university and the regions, and assist graduates in making an informed choice about their future workplace.
