The Department of Cardiology of the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University is actively involved in publishing activities aimed at developing medical science, clinical practice, and the educational process.
The faculty of the department are the authors of over 1000 scientific publications , including articles in top-ranked international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science , monographs, teaching aids, clinical guidelines and patents.
The department’s staff takes an active part in the preparation of state educational standards, standard residency curricula, and advanced training programs approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A number of the department’s faculty members are members of the editorial boards of scientific journals , are editors-in-chief of specialized publications, and also act as reviewers for domestic and foreign journals.
