Achievements
Since 2023, Kazakh National Medical University named after Sanjar Asfendiyarov has implemented a new system for evaluating and rewarding the faculty. According to the rules, various performance indicators of faculty and departments are assessed.
Based on efficiency results, the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology named after Prof. G.I. Zaltsman ranked among the Top 10 departments of the university and became a “Leader of KazNMU 2023.”
In 2024, the department was recognized for the second time as “Leader of KazNMU 2024”, ranking 2nd in key performance indicators.
This achievement is the result of the entire team: faculty, students, doctors, and researchers who contribute daily to the development of psychiatry and narcology.
