Master Class on Rare Hemostasis Disorders Held in Almaty

On December 20, 2025, a master class titled “Rare Hemostasis Disorders in the Practice of a Hematologist” was held in Almaty. The event was organized by Professor R.M. Ramazanova of the Department of Internal Medicine at S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, with the participation of medical residents specializing in Adult Hematology.

The event made a significant contribution to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education.

Presentations were delivered by leading hematologists of Kazakhstan: R.M. Ramazanova, Yu.E. Zagurskaya, O.R. Khan, and Z.D. Dushimova.

Modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of rare coagulopathies were discussed, and real clinical cases presented by resident physicians were reviewed.

The audience included first and second year residents, practicing hematologists from Almaty, and teaching staff of the department. The master class became another important step toward strengthening practice-oriented education and developing competent specialists in the field of rare blood disorders. Such events not only enhance professional qualifications but also make a real contribution to building a more sustainable and inclusive healthcare system.
