International cooperation

Research and Development

Department of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, KazNMU

Considerable attention is paid to research work. The Department of Allergology works closely with the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and has signed a cooperation agreement with the Medical University of Vienna.

Since 1998, the International National Congress “Asthma and Allergy” has been held annually, featuring world-renowned experts and leading specialists from near and far abroad.

Historical Milestone: In 2013, the Allergology and Clinical Immunology Association (AACI) joined the EAACI as an equal member for the first time in Kazakhstan’s history.

This led to the 2014 first Congress of Allergists of the RK, with the participation of global leaders: Prof. Nikolaos Papadopoulos (Manchester), Prof. Winfried Pickl, and Prof. Rudolf Valenta (Vienna).

Congress Participants
