Academic Mobility: Turkey – Kazakhstan

Resident Aidar Saltaev’s Experience at Ordu University

From January 23 to February 7, 2026, resident physician Aidar Saltaev, specializing in Prosthetic Dentistry, participated in a two-week academic mobility program at Ordu University (Turkey), located on the picturesque Black Sea coast.

Objectives and Training Insights

The primary goal of the exchange was to explore the modern medical education system, refine clinical practices, and study innovative technologies in prosthetic dentistry. During the internship, the resident familiarized himself with the university’s educational framework, technical resources, and clinical infrastructure.

A key highlight was the observation of digital technologies and advanced diagnostic tools effectively integrated into clinical departments. Classes were conducted in a modern interactive format, emphasizing evidence-based teaching methods.

Scientific Results

As a result of this mobility, a joint presentation was prepared for the 21st International Hippocrates Congress (Turkey), scheduled for March 13–15, 2026. Currently, an abstract and a research paper are being finalized for the conference proceedings.

Aidar expresses his heartfelt gratitude to the KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov and the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry for their professional support and for providing this valuable opportunity for international growth.
