Faculty members systematically conduct discussions and debates in each student group. In every group, conversations are held on the pathway to becoming a surgeon, where, using their own experience and that of their colleagues, instructors highlight the most significant milestones in professional formation.
At our university, classes are conducted in three languages at students’ request. By order of the Rector, elective classes are offered in Kazakh for the Russian-language division and in Russian for the Kazakh-language division.
It is well known that crime, extremism, and terrorism are increasing in many countries, and such incidents also occur in our state. In this regard, a roundtable discussion was organized with the participation of students completing the General Surgery cycle at the department.
An important issue is the availability and quality of training of medical personnel. To implement these and other measures, a revised edition of the Code “On Public Health and the Healthcare System” should be developed.
The department organizes events aimed at fostering patriotic values, including Independence Day, the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, Defender of the Fatherland Day, Victory Day, the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and meetings with veterans of the medical service.
